About me
If you're struggling with anxiety, depression or isolation, you are not on your own and support is here . With guidance, I know you can draw on resilience to manage life's demands and challenges. I offer free initial appointments.
I have over 20 years experience as a therapist in private practice, the NHS and Employee Assistance Programmes. I also work with managers and staff following Critical Incidents in the workplace. I am qualified and registered to work with individuals, couples, families and organisations.
I have extensive experience helping clients overcome:
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Sadness
· Feeling Unheard
· Anger
· Relationship Issues, Affairs & Betrayals
· Low Self Esteem
· Feeling Helpless, Hopeless or Defeated
· Inability to Function
· Negative Thinking
Most of us will experience these difficulties at some point in our lives. We don't always want to 'trouble' our friends and family. No matter how hard we try, we can end up feeling defeated. We simply cannot think straight. Sadly, if we continue to 'push through' on our own, our mood, sleep, motivation and work can all deteriorate. Relationships may suffer too, We may not make the best decisions.
My approach
I am warm, compassionate and welcoming...offering you a safe, confidential space to explore your difficulties. My aim is to re-establish your confidence, resilience and emotional well-being so you can live a positive and fulfilling life.
I draw on my experience to tailor your therapy and together we work on challenges. eg improving mood, motivation, sleep and anxiety.
What next?
Deciding to seek counselling is never easy. That's why I'm happy to offer a free initial appointment, so that you can decide if I'm the right counsellor for you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
