About me

Hello.

I could write a detailed essay of how I work and how I could help but that seems to have been done here by everybody else and can sometimes be overwhelming, I'm sure.  I am a fully trained therapist with a great deal of experience.  I have a Degree and Masters in Psychology and am here for you.

Whatever you are going through, whatever you want to talk about or explore, whatever you are feeling and whatever you are experiencing, give it a go and come and talk to me. From anxiety to bereavement, confusion to relationship issues, finances to insecurity. Whatever it is, we will work through it.

I am in recovery from alcohol and drugs. If you need help or you are a family member/friend of someone suffering, I'm here.  I have also been through Cancer so understand what affect illness can have on a persons life.

Email me and we can set up a free 15 minute zoom face to face meeting to discuss how best to move forward.

I look forward to meeting you and embarking on a journey together email me here.

Jason

I have years experience as a therapist and have worked with a huge range of people from all backgrounds and cultures, ethnicity's and LGBGT communities.

I am in and have been in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction for many years and work with many people going through addiction as well as family members and friends suffering the effects of someone they know in addiction.

I have also suffered with cancer and am very aware of what effect an illness can have on people, family and friends.

I currently have a private practise and am able to work face to face or online.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
