About me
"Healing does not mean the damage never existed, healing means the damage no longer controls our lives".
Hi, I’m Jazz. Are you feeling lost, overwhelmed, or like you’re carrying too much? I want you to know that you don’t have to face this alone. It’s okay to feel how you’re feeling, and reaching out for help is an act of courage, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. By considering counselling, you’re taking a brave step toward caring for yourself and creating the change you deserve. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, understanding, and a safe space to work through whatever you're going through.
"I understand what it feels like not to be okay."
People come to counselling for many reasons and my path to becoming a counsellor was shaped by my own personal challenges and experiences. Through therapy and working with a counsellor, I experienced first-hand how empowering and transformative talk therapy can be. It’s my hope to offer the same healing and supportive environment to you. You may be carrying trauma - whether from the past or something recent, struggling with anxiety, depression, family issues, low self-esteem, or the pain of bereavement. Whatever brings you here, my focus as your counsellor is to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly supported. We’ll move through our sessions at a pace that feels right for you, making sure you’re always comfortable. Rather than offering advice or direction, I’ll be here to help you gently explore your thoughts and feelings, guiding you as you uncover more about yourself. This journey is about supporting you in finding your own path, with understanding and encouragement, as we work through whatever you’re facing. Together, we can create meaningful, positive change.
I offer in-person counselling in a warm and confidential space in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Alternatively, online appointments are available where you can access therapy in a space that feels comfortable for you, allowing sessions to be accessible, making time for you in a world that can often feel fast paced with little time to spend taking care of you.
To discuss how counseling might help you, or to ask any questions, feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute call. You can call me at 07729783847 or email me at Jazz@safehandscounselling.com.
I’m here to support you on your path to healing.
