About me

"Healing does not mean the damage never existed; healing means the damage no longer controls our lives."

This is a quote I often return to because it reminds us that while the past may have shaped you, it doesn't have to define you. Through trauma-informed counselling, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, childhood emotional wounds, relationship difficulties, and the lasting impact of emotional abuse. Together, we work towards reconnecting with yourself, regaining a sense of control, and building greater confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Hi, I'm Jazz – I'm pleased you're here.

If you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, the effects of childhood trauma, or finding that difficult relationships continue to impact your life today, I want you to know that you don't have to face this alone. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel truly heard, and begin to understand the experiences that have shaped you.

Together, we can gently explore what's beneath the challenges you're facing, make sense of patterns that may no longer be serving you, and work towards meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or carrying the weight of past experiences, counselling can provide an opportunity to better understand yourself and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of something different. By seeking support, you're already making an investment in your wellbeing. Whatever may be bringing you to therapy, we can work together to untangle what's been holding you back, strengthen your sense of self, and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope for the future.

A Little About Me & How I Work -                                                                                       I get how tough it is when you’re not feeling okay - and I also know how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen, support, and guide you through the hardest moments. My own journey led me to this work, and now, I’m here to offer you that same compassionate, non-judgmental space where healing can begin.

You may find yourself stuck in patterns that keep repeating, struggling to set boundaries, doubting your own worth, or repeating patterns in relationships that leave you feeling hurt, unseen, or emotionally exhausted. Whatever brings you here, my role is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and never judged. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, I’ll help you gently explore your thoughts and feelings, guiding you as you uncover more about yourself. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, so you always feel comfortable and in control of your healing journey.

Training, qualifications & experience

With a BA (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I have a solid foundation in the theory and practice of psychotherapy.

I have a particular passion for supporting survivors of abuse, and I understand the deep, lasting impact that abuse can have on a person’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My focus is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can work through these challenges at your pace, helping you reclaim your sense of self and strength.

In addition to my core training, I have continued to develop my practice through additional learning in neurodiversity, attachment theory, and LGBTQIA+ affirming work, helping me to offer therapy that is inclusive, understanding, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I believe that healing comes from feeling truly heard and understood, and I’m committed to providing a space where everyone, regardless of background or identity, feels safe to explore their journey.

Together, we can work towards your healing, helping you regain balance, self-worth, and peace of mind.
