About me
Hi, I’m Jasmin, a dedicated and compassionate Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with seven years of experience in mental health, including the last two years specializing in CBT.
I’m passionate about helping people break free from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and PTSD—guiding them toward a place of confidence and control.
I like to keep therapy human—offering warmth, structure, a touch of humor when appropriate, and plenty of helpful metaphors to make complex concepts easier to grasp.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but my goal is to make the process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. Our sessions will be a space where you can be yourself—without judgment, pressure, or expectation.
In our first session, we’ll take the time to understand what’s been going on for you. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your challenges, how they’re affecting your life, and what you’d like to change. This session isn’t about labels or diagnoses—it’s about getting to know you and what you need from therapy.
As we move forward, our sessions will be structured yet flexible. We’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that might be keeping you stuck. I’ll help you make sense of what’s happening and, most importantly, support you in finding practical ways to move forward.
We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll introduce techniques and strategies that are backed by research, but I’ll always explain things in a way that’s clear and easy to relate to. I often use real-life examples, metaphors, and a bit of humor when appropriate to make our work together feel more natural and engaging.
Therapy with me isn’t about endlessly talking about problems—it’s about creating real change. That means you’ll leave each session with something useful, whether it’s a new perspective, a tool to try in daily life, or simply a sense of relief that you’re not facing things alone.
Most importantly, I want you to feel safe, understood, and empowered in our work together. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you see things more clearly, develop new ways of coping, and build the confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
No matter where you are in your journey, you’re not alone—and I’m here to help
Please note: I do not offer crisis support.
Sessions can be online via video call or in person in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
