About me
Are you finding life difficult right now? Life can be challenging, feel really tough especially through those teenage years. A therapist can help you by using empathy, great listening skills and have a deeper understanding of those adolescence years. Therapy can help you to feel safe, unjudged and understand yourself better.
I am an experienced, BACP Senior Integrative Counsellor and can provide you with a high quality service which is tailored to your individual needs.
Together we will build a trusting and open relationship where you will be heard, seen and understood. We will work together towards a positive way forward, and help you find balance in your life.
I have over 10 years experience working for the NHS in a clinical role. This then led to supporting individuals and families through various life experiences within the community. I feel privileged to have supported those individuals through difficult periods. I believe each person is unique and has the ability for growth and change.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues and diagnosis including bereavement, anxiety, depression, sudden loss, domestic abuse, ASC,ADHD, and many other presenting issues.
If you are ready to accept the support I can offer, get in touch and we can have a chat about what counselling looks like, the process and how/when to start. You can then go away, process and think in your own time whether this is what you are looking for.
I find working with teenagers and young people rewarding by having the ability to help them navigate change & the problems they face, for example understanding neurodiversity & how the brain works. ADHD, Autism, relationships, self esteem. peer group & academic pressures.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
