Welcome to One Life! I'm guessing you're here because life is tough and you've decided that now is the time to get some help getting things back on track. We all have times when we just need a little help and support from someone who can maybe see things from a different perspective. Well I think that's my 'super-power'. Listening without judgement and looking at things with a fresh set of eyes. Helping you to see things differently and supporting you to make the changes to get back to living your best possible life. So take that leap, trust your judgement, come and see me and we'll do this TOGETHER!
How do I work?
I am an integrative therapist which gives me a wide range of techniques and styles to choose from. It enables me to tailor an approach that’s specific to your individual needs. After all, there’s no ‘one-size fits all’ solution to anything in this life. Even the same person may respond differently at different points in their life.
It also gives me the opportunity to work on both short and long-term approaches. Sometimes all you need is to ‘offload’ a bit of the pressure, or figure out what to do next, over a session or two. And other times you need a longer, supportive approach to explore those deep-rooted issues.
Flexibility is at the centre of what I do, it’s very much led by you with me gently guiding. This is your safe space to explore anything you want or need to, without judgement from me.
I have lots of experience working with bereavement and am honoured to help people discover and embrace life after loss.
If you want to see if I’m the right counsellor for you, why not book an initial session for £25? You can either do that using my simple online booking http://www.onelifeessex.co.uk/Online-Booking.php or by phone on 07855 053518 (you may have to leave a message if I’m with clients but I’ll call you back asap).
From July 2020 I will be offering phone or video sessions.
Here are just some of the benefits:
No travel required. This is great for those who may not drive and for those that do drive, it saves on petrol, parking and traffic!
Less time required as you won't need to add on travel time, meaning you can have your session remotely during your breaks!
You can have your session in your own, comfortable environment, surrounded by your own things, which may be more of a comforting experience.
If you live in a remote area, you're not limited to just a few counsellors who are local to you. You can choose the right therapist, wherever you live.
Mobility can be a big issue for some people so I can still help people who may not have been able to physically get to an office.
Expats also may struggle to find an English speaking therapist, so if that's you it means that you can sessions in your native language with someone who understands, no language barrier.
If you're not sure whether this would work for you why not try an initial, no obligation session, you may be surprised.
Book an appointment today and start that journey to making your One Life better!
