About me

I am a UKCP accredited integrative psychotherapist and counsellor with over 10 years' experience. I am also an EMDR practitioner. My approach is relational: we’ll make sense of things together, at your pace, and use our working relationship as a safe place to explore what hurts and what can heal. Confidentiality, consent, and clear boundaries guide my practice. I’ll explain what to expect, check in often, and invite your feedback so your therapy stays useful and respectful.

I work face to face and online (video or phone). My practice is welcoming and LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-aware, and culturally sensitive - I aim to meet you as you are, with curiosity and care. As an integrative therapist, I draw from different approaches to fit your needs; as an EMDR practitioner, I also offer EMDR for trauma, and I’ll explain options clearly so you can choose what suits you.

I have experience of leading an NHS‑commissioned counselling service, offering individual and group work. I bring long experience of meeting anxiety, depression, grief and loss with care, and I’ll work with you to find a pace and approach that feels right for you.

My area of research is focused on improving clinical outcomes for survivors of sexual violence. I have extensive experience of working with survivors within my private practice and through my work at Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

I am also a clinical supervisor. I offer individual and group supervision for trainees and qualified practitioners across and beyond psychology, with an emphasis on reflective, ethical, and relational practice. I believe therapy and supervision should be accessible regardless of financial circumstances; I hold some reduced-fee places—please feel free to ask.
