About me
Hello! I’m Jamie, a qualified counsellor, dedicated to helping individuals to navigate life’s challenges and create lasting change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling with relationships, or looking to heal from past trauma, I’m here to support you in understanding your unique experience and finding paths toward healing and growth.
Approach to Therapy:
I believe that every person has the capacity for change, and I approach therapy with empathy, understanding, and respect for each individual’s journey. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered. Together, we will explore the issues that bring you to therapy, understand how they impact your life, and work toward developing practical strategies and coping skills to help you move forward.
Who I Work With:
I work with adults and teenagers from diverse backgrounds, and I am particularly passionate about supporting those who feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, or emotional pain and low moods. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals.
My Background:
I hold a degree in Psychology and am also a qualified teacher. I am trained in integrative counselling and continually engage in professional development to ensure that I am providing the best care to my clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to successful treatment, and I strive to build a relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration.
Let’s Connect:
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life, I’d love to help. I offer online or in-person sessions, and I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation or ask any questions you may have about the process. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but I’m here to walk alongside you, every step of the way.
Are you a teacher who is feeling incredibly anxious and overwhelmed by the amount you're needing to carry?
As a trained counsellor with a deep passion for supporting educators, I understand the unique challenges that teachers face both in and outside the classroom. With over 15 years of experience as a leader in schools focusing on mental health and teacher well-being, I provide a safe, supportive space for educators to process stress, manage burnout, and cultivate resilience.
Teachers are often juggling the demands of their students, administrative expectations, and personal lives. Whether you're struggling with work-life balance, dealing with compassion fatigue, or navigating difficult dynamics in the school environment, I'm here to help.
My goal is to empower educators to not only care for others but to care for themselves. Together, we'll work on strategies for managing anxiety, improving self-care, and building emotional resilience so that you can continue making a difference in your students' lives without sacrificing your own well-being.
If you're an educator looking for a safe space to recharge and reflect, or if you're ready to work through the emotional demands of teaching, I am here to support you on your journey.

Teenagers
Are you staying awake at night worried about your son or daughter's mental health? Do you feel like you're losing your child?
I am dedicated to providing compassionate and tailored support to teenagers navigating life's challenges.
As a Counsellor passionate about helping teenagers navigate the ups and downs of adolescence, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where young people can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Growing up today comes with unique challenges—whether it's academic pressure, social media stress, friendship issues, or family dynamics. I specialize in working with teens to help them manage anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, and the emotional hurdles that come with this stage of life.
With a background in teaching for over 15 years I understand what you're BOTH going through. I focus on helping teenagers better understand their emotions, develop positive self-esteem, and navigate relationships with friends, family, and peers.
In our sessions, I aim to create a safe, approachable environment where teens can talk openly about what they’re going through—whether it’s school stress, peer pressure, or figuring out their identity. Together, we work on strategies to handle challenges, improve communication, and make positive choices that align with their values.
I also collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance on how to best support their teens through this critical period of growth. Whether your teenager is struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or simply needs someone to talk to, I’m here to help them develop the tools they need to thrive both now and in the future.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
