About me
Hi, I’m Jamie — a dad, teacher and counsellor who supports people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck or simply not themselves. I offer a calm, steady space where you can untangle what’s going on and begin to feel more grounded and in control again.
You may look like you're coping on the outside, but inside things feel heavy. Maybe you're exhausted, struggling to switch off, feeling disconnected, or finding relationships hard. You don’t have to go through this alone — things can change.
How I Work
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel understood.
Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re feeling, explore what’s keeping you stuck, and build confidence, clarity, and practical tools to help you move forward — at your pace, without pressure.
I work with both adults and young people, tailoring therapy to your needs, personality, and goals.
Support for Adults
I help adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns they’re ready to break.
Whether you're navigating stress, low mood, relationship struggles, burnout, or a sense of “holding everything together,” we’ll work to create space, clarity, and new ways of coping so life feels more manageable and connected.
Support for Teens & School-Related Pressure
With over 15 years’ experience as a teacher and school leader, I understand the challenges young people face today.
I support teens with anxiety, low mood, school stress, confidence, friendships and family relationships, and big emotions. I also help families navigate school communication and support needs where helpful.
About Me
I hold a degree in Psychology and trained in integrative counselling. I bring extensive experience supporting children, teens and adults, and believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, heard, and understood.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
