Talking therapies are one of the most widely used therapies available and it is my aim to help you to explore what it is that causes you distress. It may be anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, relationships or a much less defined feeling of sadness.
The benefits gained from being heard and supported in these moments are life changing when we realise, we are no longer alone with our situation, problems, thoughts and feelings that are unique to you and which may affect your current well-being.

Many people in their lives experience struggles with emotional pain and mental health problems which can feel as if things will always be this way. Talking therapies are one of the most widely used therapies available.
The benefits gained from being heard and understood are life changing when we realise we are no longer alone with our situation or problems. My aim is to help you explore thoughts and feelings that are unique to you and which may affect your current well-being. These may include, anxiety, depression, life crisis, loss, bereavement, relationship difficulties, stress and addiction, but could be a much less well-defined sense of unhappiness with life, such as past influences or family problems.
The safe, confidential, non-judgmental space provided by a counselling relationship is where this work can be done at your own pace. You are able to explore your thoughts and sometimes painful feelings and look at your past and present with help and care moving towards a positive outcome. If addiction to Alcohol or other substances and behaviors is a problem I can offer help. I work with clients wishing to achieve abstinence and also those who look for the answers to difficulties arising from recovery from addiction
