About me
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally disconnected, stuck in repeating patterns, or struggling to cope with pressures in your relationships, work, or daily life. Sometimes it can feel difficult to talk openly about what’s going on, especially when you’ve spent a long time trying to manage things alone.
I offer a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental space where we can explore whatever is troubling you at your own pace. Together, we can begin to understand the underlying patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to your difficulties and work towards meaningful and lasting change.
I work with adults experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, identity issues, and life transitions.
I also have a particular interest in working with men’s mental health. Many men feel pressure to appear okay, keep things to themselves, or struggle to express vulnerability openly. Therapy can offer a space to speak honestly without fear of judgement and begin developing a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, while also drawing from person-centred and relational approaches. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to effective therapy, and I aim to offer a warm, collaborative, and thoughtful environment where you feel heard and understood.
I offer both in-person counselling in Hartfield, within easy reach from East Grinstead, Crowborough, and Tunbridge Wells. I also offer online therapy (Zoom) across the UK.
If you would like to arrange an initial session or ask any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Initial Consultation
I offer an initial 15-minute telephone consultation where we can introduce ourselves and discuss what's bringing you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it. It's a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and ask any questions you might have about the process. If we both decide that working together is something we would like to commit to, then we can arrange our first session.
The first Session
Our first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other and for me to gather information on your history, who you are as a person and what you would like from me as your counsellor. We will then explore the best way to meet your needs in a way that suits you.
