About me

Hi, I’m Jade, an Integrative Counsellor based in Rochester, Kent.

At times, life can feel heavy, confusing, or stuck . Whether that shows up as anxiety, low mood, relationship struggles or just a sense that something isn’t quite right.

I offer a calm, grounded space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on for you, at your own pace. Therapy with me isn’t about being told what to do, it’s about having the space to think, feel, and understand yourself more clearly.

I work in a way that adapts to you. Some sessions may focus on what’s happening right now, others may gently explore what sits underneath it. We go at a pace that feels manageable, not overwhelming.

The relationship we build matters. Feeling safe enough to be honest, even about the difficult or uncomfortable parts, is where real change begins.

People often come to therapy wanting things to feel different, even if they’re not sure how. Together, we can begin to untangle what’s keeping you stuck and move towards something that feels more manageable, and more like you.

If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free 15-minute call to see if it feels like the right fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I bring nearly two decades of experience in the helping profession into my work, alongside a postgraduate diploma in Integrative Counselling. My training included three years of study and hands-on experience within a doctor’s surgery, where I supported people with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

This experience continues to shape how I work, in a way that is grounded, thoughtful, and responsive to each person as an individual.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I understand that no two people experience things in exactly the same way, which is why our work together isn’t one-size-fits-all. We focus on what feels most important for you, at a pace that feels manageable.

At times, that might mean making space for difficult feelings. At other times, it might be about noticing patterns, or finding ways to respond differently to what’s going on.

You won’t be expected to figure it all out on your own. I’ll be alongside you, offering support, space, and gentle guidance as things begin to make more sense.
