MBACP Integrative Counsellor

About me

Life’s challenges can sometimes leave us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed or alone. As a qualified integrative, person-centered counsellor and registered member of the BACP, I provide a safe, empathetic space where your story is heard without judgement.

I specialise in helping clients navigate the pain of grief, the complexities of familial relationships, and the weight of low self-esteem. Because I work through a trauma-informed lens, our sessions prioritise your emotional safety and autonomy, ensuring we move at a pace that feels right for you. By blending different therapeutic methods and real conversation, we can work together to explore your experiences and tailor our sessions to align with your goals for therapy.

Working Together

Free Consultation: We begin with a free 10-minute phone/Video consultation to discuss your needs and see if we are a good fit.

Initial Session: In our first full session, we will discuss our working contract and the duration of therapy you wish to engage with - whether short-term (6–12 sessions), long-term (6 months to a year), or open-ended. We will also explore what has brought you to counselling and what your goals for the sessions are.

Session Structure: Sessions are 50 minutes long and held weekly at a mutually agreed time.

Location: All sessions are held online via Zoom. Please ensure you are familiar with the platform prior to our meeting to ensure a smooth start.

Fees: Sessions are £70 per session, payable prior to or on the day of the session via bank transfer.

As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to a strict ethical framework, ensuring our work is professional and safe.

If you feel I am the right counsellor for you, please get in touch to discuss how we can begin.

With best wishes,

Jacqueline Paddick MBACP

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
