About me

Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming which is why I offer a free 15-minute initial conversation so you can get a sense of how I work, and whether it feels like the right fit.

I work with adults who may appear to be coping on the surface, but feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or dissatisfied underneath. This might show up as anxiety, depression, low mood, burnout, or recurring difficulties in relationships, as well as the ongoing impact of past experiences or trauma.

Therapy with me offers a space to slow things down and begin making sense of what’s happening for you. You might feel as though you’re feeling too much, or perhaps numb, grey and disengaged. Together, we pay close attention to patterns; how you relate to others, how you respond to difficulty, and what sits underneath the things that feel emotionally overwhelming. Many of these patterns develop for good reasons, but over time can begin to feel limiting or painful.

Alongside warmth and care, I bring a thoughtful, active approach. I don’t simply sit back or offer surface-level reflections. Through curiosity and careful questioning, I aim to help you see yourself more clearly; how you are, how you relate, and what may be contributing to the difficulties you’re experiencing. This understanding can create the possibility for making different choices and meaningful, lasting change.

The relationship between us is central to the work. Feeling understood, taken seriously, and able to bring what is difficult or uncertain is often where change begins. I aim to offer a space that is calm, grounded, and containing while also gently challenging where needed.

I am a registered member of the UKCP and BACP, and work in a trauma-informed way.

Sessions take place in person in Fulham and Parsons Green (SW6), Wimbledon (SW19), and online across the UK.

If you are considering therapy, I offer a free 15 minute initial conversation where you can ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed a five-year Master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and am a registered member of both the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy - registration number 2011172281) and BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - MBACP, registration number 393039).

I have worked in NHS settings as well as private practice, supporting adults from a wide range of backgrounds.

I work in a way that is flexible and responsive, shaping sessions around what you bring rather than following a rigid structure. This can be helpful if you have tried to “think your way out” of difficulties before, or if you want space to explore things more carefully.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
