About me
My name is Dr Isabel Traynor, I carry out psychological assessment and therapy for a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, OCD, panic, grief & loss, stress, PTSD, trauma and addiction. This list is not exhaustive, you can contact me via phone or email to discuss the help you require.
I work collaboratively with clients to provide a safe, warm and confidential space aimed at understanding your situation and how to make changes that will help you learn how to cope, overcome your difficulties and improve your wellbeing.
The nature of being a human means that we are all prone to experiencing difficulties with managing stress, emotions and relationships.
At times, it can help to talk about your problems with a certified professional to gain an understanding about what is causing them, what helps you, what makes things worse and most importantly, what changes you can make to improve things.
I understand that it can be hard to reach out for help. You have made the first step by looking for support. I encourage you to take the next step and call or email to arrange a free 15 minute consultation.

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience in the NHS.

You can be confident that you will receive the highest standard of care from a friendly, compassionate, down-to-earth, qualified and experienced clinical psychologist.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
