About me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working with adults on a one-to-one, weekly basis. Whatever my clients bring, I’m passionate about supporting people to live whole, fulfilling, creative lives.
Psychodynamic therapy subscribes to the idea that events in our past, which may or may not be consciously known to us, could be impacting the way we relate to people and the world around us in our present. Clients come with a wide range of emotional difficulties. The ways we are affected by, and deal with adverse life experiences are unique to each individual. I provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space in which we can learn more about what you’ve been through and navigate a way through it. I offer both face-to-face and online therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the UK’s leading institutions for academic and clinical practice and hold a post-graduate diploma in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I maintain a high standard of service through continued professional development courses, and I’m accredited by the UKCP.
Some issues may be long-standing and may require what we call open-ended therapy, and others may result from a particular traumatic event or series of events. Having worked within the London Metropolitan Police Service, I have experience helping clients to process traumatic events using a focused, short-term model.
Prior to embarking on my formal training I ran groups for people with mental health difficulties in the charity sector.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
