About me

My name is Holly, I am a person-centred and integrative therapist, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to counselling at your own pace.

Alongside a strong person-centred foundation, I work integrative, drawing on approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and relational work. This allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I support clients with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, low mood, burnout, and life transitions.

I am also a qualified life coach, which means that alongside therapeutic exploration, we can work practically with current challenges, patterns, and goals. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward in certain areas of your life, we can gently explore what’s happening and consider ways to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially during difficult or uncertain times. I understand this not only professionally, but personally too. I know how hard it can be to ask for help, and I also know how powerful counselling can be in helping you heal, gain insight, and move forward.
To help you decide whether I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, talk about what you’re looking for from therapy, and see whether we feel like a good fit before committing to ongoing sessions.

I currently offer online counselling only, with sessions available via Microsoft Teams or telephone, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own space.

I am BACP and NCPS registered and accredited, and I work ethically, safely, and with respect for each client’s unique experience.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which included comprehensive training in both theory and practice, underpinned by the BACP Ethical Framework and professional standards. My training is integrative, incorporating person-centred counselling, CBT, trauma-informed approaches, and relational work. I am also a qualified life coach. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, also Accredited NCPS and engage in ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and regular supervision to ensure my practice remains safe, ethical, and effective.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
