About me
Hello, I am Holly Frogley, the psychological therapist behind Hill Head Psychological Therapy, based near Fareham in Hampshire.
I am experienced in helping clients overcome: Anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, agoraphobia, PTSD and depression using evidence based techniques that do not feel like a ‘one size fits all protocol’. All my sessions will be tailored to your needs.
Although I enjoy empowering people to learn skills to treat the range of psychological difficulties above, over the course of my career I have found myself specialising in trauma therapy.
As a mother myself, I have a particular passion for perinatal psychology and can support parents who have experienced birth trauma or other difficult times during the perinatal period which have resulted in distress and ongoing symptoms.
I am experienced in working with individuals who have developed trauma symptoms as a result of working in the military or other work based scenarios such as first line/emergency services)
If you have experienced traumatic loss, and are feeling stuck in your grief, I am able to share my skills to help you progress on your grieving journey, all at your own pace.
If you have reason to believe you might have complex trauma or C-PTSD, this is also something I am trained and experienced in psychotherapy for.
This is not an exhaustive list. Please do contact me if there is something you would like support with, and I will let you know if I am able to help.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have had the privilege of supporting people with a range of difficulties for over 10 years within NHS therapy services, although I specialise in trauma therapy.
I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist and supervisor, and qualified EMDR therapist.
My work is also informed by compassion focused therapy and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), which allows me to have the flexibility to help you overcome complex or longstanding difficulties.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
