About me

Counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor. PG Dip, MBACP. Certified Online and Telephone Counsellor

With over 29 years’ experience in a variety of settings I am currently working online and by telephone.

I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist using an integrated and trauma informed approach. I am qualified to work therapeutically online and by telephone as well as face to face.

I have experience of working with young people and adults going through issues including complex trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, child sexual abuse, sexual violence, domestic abuse, addiction, bereavement and suicide, self-harm, family issues, work related stress and change of life events.

I provide counselling support which can be short term, focused on specific issues that you may be having and also longer-term therapy that can help you to navigate more complex difficulties in your life.

I also provide clinical supervision for any therapist or professional who requires or who would benefit from this work.

I aim to offer you a safe and supportive environment to work through whatever you wish to bring to your session.  The time is yours and I will walk alongside you on your journey supporting you to find the solutions that I believe are already within you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
