About me

Hello and welcome.

We all experience challenges and difficulties in our lives which can lead to feelings of isolation, anxiety, depression, a lack of clarity and a need for a fresh perspective. Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for exploring and helping to make sense of our thoughts, feelings and circumstances.

I am committed to offering you a professional, supportive and caring counselling service. I will work with you to help you through whatever issue has brought you to counselling such as stress, anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties or low confidence and self-esteem.

I use an integrative approach in my counselling, drawing upon a number of counselling techniques to best suit your needs.

As well as working in private practice, I am a counsellor for the charity Mind.

I offer online counselling sessions via Zoom.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an experienced and fully qualified counsellor holding an MSc in Counselling (High Distinction). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such work in accordance with their code of ethics.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
