Helen Page, MBACP, Masters degree in Counselling
Are there things in your life you'd like to change? Things causing you to feel overwhelmed, sad or anxious? If so, counselling may help. I'm a BACP registered counsellor offering online counselling sessions.
I have experience in helping people across charity, social services and private practice settings. I have also lived and worked abroad.
I am committed to offering you a professional, supportive and caring counselling service. I will work with you to help you through whatever issue has brought you to counselling.
I use an integrative approach, drawing upon a number of counselling techniques to best suit your needs.
I offer online counselling sessions via Zoom.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced and fully qualified counsellor holding an MSc in Counselling (High Distinction). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such work in accordance with their code of ethics.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
I offer an initial session for £20.
Subsequent sessions cost £40.
Sessions are 50 minutes each.
I recognise that contacting a counsellor can be a daunting step. However, it can lead to positive change, empowerment, clarity, and self-awareness.
To arrange an initial session, or if you have any questions prior to starting counselling sessions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
