About me
I know that reaching out for help can feel like a huge step. When you’re looking for a therapist, the last thing you want is someone who feels cold, clinical, or overly formal.
I’m a firm believer that therapy works best when it’s built on a real, down-to-earth connection. I’m a normal person who understands that life is messy, complicated, and often stressful. My style is warm and encouraging; I’m here to listen without judgment and to offer a steady hand when things feel a bit overwhelming.
I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While I’m a specialist in CBT, I’m also an integrative therapist. In plain terms, that means I have a wide toolkit of different methods. I don't force you into a specific box; instead, I pull from different therapeutic styles to find exactly what works for you as an individual.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My goal as a therapist is to make the process feel straightforward, productive, and most importantly, normal. You don’t need to know exactly what to say; you just need to show up as you are.
I don’t believe in sitting in clinical silence. Our sessions will feel like a focused, two-way conversation. While I am here to listen, I will also offer feedback, ask clarifying questions, and help you connect the dots. You can expect a therapist who is engaged and present, not just a blank face taking notes.
While it’s important to understand why we feel the way we do, I also believe therapy should be functional.
We will work together to get clarity on the patterns that keep you stuck and find realistic, manageable ways to handle daily stress or difficult emotions.
I avoid academic jargon. We’ll talk about your life using your language, focusing on what actually matters to you.
There is no "right" way to do this. Some sessions will be deep and reflective, while others might be about navigating a specific crisis or a bad week. I provide a consistent, reliable space where you can be honest about the messy parts of life without feeling judged or rushed.
The first session is simply an opportunity for us to meet and discuss what’s on your mind. It’s a chance for you to see if my style feels like a good fit for you, with no obligation to commit to a long-term process unless you feel ready.
I look forward to working with you!
