About me
I am a warm, caring and empathetic counsellor ready to support you with any issues, concerns or troubles. Whether you are experiencing current difficulties or would like to address something that’s happened in the past, I can help. I offer a safe place where I will listen and understand. You can be yourself and I will accept you without judgement and encourage you to unload any issues that are lying heavy on you.
Albert Einstein once said “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it"
This quote emphasises the importance of approaching problems with a fresh perspective and an open mind. When we are stuck in the same patterns of thought or behaviours, we are unlikely to find a way out of it. To resolve a problem or accept past trauma, we may have to look at it from a different angle, considering new ideas and possibilities that were previously not considered and you may need help with that. I can help you to step back and examine the situation with a renewed mindset and we can work to find choices and solutions that were previously buried or hidden.
Personal growth, self-awareness and mindfulness are crucial components of problem-solving, as they allow us to break free from the confines of our own perceptions and discover new paths towards resolution and a happier life.
As an integrative counsellor, I will use various counselling methods to help you get the most out of your sessions and to build a toolbox of resources and techniques to help you with life’s challenges and any difficulties you may face in the future. Everyone has their own unique needs and goals and we will work together to find the best approach for you.
