About me
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.
While my foundation is in Person-Centred Counselling, I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I tailor my approach to support each individual’s personal circumstances, goals, and preferences.
I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, and life transitions. My aim is to work collaboratively with clients to help them develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional wellbeing, empowering them to move towards positive and lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a degree-level qualification in Counselling and am committed to ongoing professional development to support my work with clients.
My additional training and continued learning have focused on trauma, attachment, and generational patterns, helping me to understand how past experiences, relationships, and family systems can influence emotional wellbeing and ways of relating in the present.
This ongoing training informs my integrative approach, enabling me to work sensitively and collaboratively with clients while tailoring therapy to their individual needs and experiences.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Fees
£35.00 per session
Additional information
I charge £35 per 50-minute session. I have chosen this fee carefully as I believe counselling should be accessible to as many people as possible.
My hope is to offer a safe and supportive therapeutic space at a cost that feels fair and attainable, while recognising that investing in therapy can be challenging for many individuals and families.
I am passionate about making counselling more accessible and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to access support, develop greater self-understanding, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.
Further information
I believe that our experiences throughout life, beginning in childhood, shape our sense of self, our relationships, and the beliefs we hold about ourselves and the world around us. Exploring these connections can provide valuable insight into present difficulties and patterns of behaviour.
I work alongside clients to gently and thoughtfully make sense of these experiences, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of who they are and how their past may be influencing their present. In my experience, when clients engage in this process of self-exploration and understanding, it can lead to meaningful change, greater self-compassion, and improved emotional wellbeing.
My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences at a pace that feels right for them.
