About me
Hi, my name is Hayley. I am a qualified integrative counsellor, which means I draw on different types of therapy to tailor an approach specifically for you. Mainly based on the person centred, CBT and psychodynamic modalities.
I was once in your position seeking therapy so I know how daunting it can be to reach out for help. But after seeking my own therapy I realised it was the best thing I ever did and has literally turned my life around.
This journey has given me the confidence and passion to want to support others so they too can experience a happier and more fulfilling life.
I am really passionate that the therapeutic relationship you build is the most important aspect of therapy. I will offer you a space that you will feel safe and fully supported to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
I work with adult clients 18+, with a range of common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, life changes, loss, grief and relationship issues. I have a real passion for supporting clients from the LGBT+ community. I also have a real interest in supporting parents when their young person has come out as transgender. Having my own personal experience in the transgender community I feel really gives me a valuable insight to how my clients may think and feeI. I take great joy in seeing my clients grow and develop and make positive changes in their lives.
I offer a free introductory call where you can speak to me first before starting therapy, to see if I'm someone you feel comfortable working with.
I hold insurance and an enhanced DBS to practice.
