BA (Hons), MBACP - Person-centred Counsellor

About me

Do you find that your moods ruin your relationships, social life or work life? Do you feel shame around your behaviour and long to be different than you are?

I am a professional person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist helping women of all ages who are looking for mental and emotional health support both in-person and online.

Each woman may find herself facing many challenges at various times in her life. Sometimes feeling shame or afraid to speak up, struggle with low self-esteem or confidence issues, feeling stuck or like they are living in a dark place with no sense of how or where to find the light.

Counselling with me can help you with many issues including abuse, anxiety and depression, trauma, mental health problems connected to menstrual health, issues within mother/daughter relationships, suicidal feelings and domestic violence.

Being female and feeling ok to stand in your glory as you are can sometimes feel just too scary.  My mission is to support women to understand their thoughts, feelings and life experiences so they can begin to feel empowered and heard. I will help you to feel safe enough to create the life that you want and deserve.

Change is a commitment and together we will work towards a place of self-acceptance, until your symptoms start to improve and healing and change take place.

If you have any questions or would like to book a session, then please send me an email today.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
