About me
Stepping into therapy is an act of quiet, profound courage.
It is the moment you decide that your story deserves to be heard and that the weight you’ve been carrying; whether it’s the shadow of anxiety, the exhaustion of depression, or the heavy layers of shame or grief, it doesn't have to be carried alone.
You may also be navigating the unique complexities of neurodiversity such as Autism and ADHD or exploring your identity. I want you to know that this is a space where your lived experience is not just accepted, but deeply honoured.
My approach is rooted in person-centered counselling, which is a way of saying that you are the heart of our work together.
In our sessions, you are always in the driver’s seat. We move at your pace, honouring your boundaries and your readiness for vulnerability. There is no pressure to "perform" or to be anything other than who you are in this moment. Think of me as a collaborative partner; I provide the steady, non-judgmental environment, while you lead the way through your thoughts and feelings.
Together, we will build a partnership strong enough to hold whatever comes up.
You will always have the freedom to decide when to lean into a difficult emotion or when to step back and breathe until things feel less overwhelming. My ultimate goal is to help you cultivate a sense of inner security, empowering you to navigate your world with a new sense of clarity, confidence, and compassion for yourself. You don’t have to have all the answers right now, you just have to be willing to start the conversation.
Training, qualifications & experience

- I am a registered member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
