About me
Welcome!
Stepping into therapy and embarking on a journey of self-exploration can feel like a big step. It often involves reflecting on your readiness for vulnerability. You might find yourself wondering, "Am I prepared to really open up, step outside my comfort zone, and grow more comfortable with my vulnerabilities?"
Are you carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, shame, or grief? Perhaps you're navigating the unique path of neurodiversity or exploring your identity within the LGBTQ+ community. Life can present us with complex challenges, and sometimes, finding a space where you feel truly seen and heard can make all the difference.
I'm a person-centred counsellor, offering what's often called talking therapy. My approach is all about you. Think of it like this: you're in the driver's seat, and together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at your pace. My role is to create a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive environment where you can freely express yourself without fear or pressure.
In our sessions, we'll work collaboratively to build a strong partnership. This collaboration is key to helping you feel secure enough to explore your emotions. You'll have the space to decide whether to lean into a feeling that's present or to step back from it until it feels less overwhelming. My aim is to empower you to navigate your inner world with newfound clarity and confidence.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
