About me
About Me
I am a Somatic Therapist and Coach offering a warm, trauma-informed space for adults who want to feel safer in their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and move beyond patterns that no longer serve them.
Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, or relational difficulty. Together, we work gently and collaboratively to restore a sense of safety, self-trust, and emotional steadiness.
My approach recognises that experiences are not held only in thoughts, but also in the body and nervous system. By working with both, meaningful and sustainable change becomes possible.
My Approach
I offer an integrative, person-centred approach that combines therapeutic understanding with body-based awareness. Sessions are paced carefully and shaped around your needs, capacity, and goals.
I integrate elements of:
- Somatic Therapy - supporting nervous system regulation, body awareness, and trauma integration.
- Parts Work–informed practice - developing compassionate awareness of different aspects of self.
And for traditional talking therapy:
- Person-Centred Therapy - providing a non-judgemental, empathic, and collaborative relationship.
- Transactional Analysis - exploring relational patterns, attachment dynamics, and life scripts
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - identifying and gently shifting limiting beliefs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Why Work Somatically?
Stress and difficult experiences can be held in the nervous system long after events have passed. This may show up as anxiety, emotional shutdown, tension, or feeling “on edge” without knowing why.
Somatic work supports you to:
- Recognise and regulate nervous system responses
- Reconnect with bodily awareness and emotional signals
- Reduce overwhelm and increase capacity
- Develop steadiness and self-trust
- Integrate insight into everyday life
Sessions may include grounding practices, breath awareness, gentle body-based attention, and reflective therapeutic conversation.
