About me
You may appear to be coping well, while privately feeling caught up in worry, self-doubt or overthinking. You might replay conversations, worry about making the wrong decision, seek reassurance, or spend a lot of time checking and reviewing things. You may find uncertainty difficult or experience intrusive thoughts that leave you questioning yourself. Anxiety and OCD can also show up through perfectionism, procrastination, people-pleasing, avoidance, checking or trying to feel completely certain before making a decision. These things can help in the short term, but often keep anxiety going over time.
I offer a warm, collaborative and honest space with no pressure to get things 'right' or move at a certain pace. Together we’ll map what keeps you stuck, understand the patterns and pressures shaping your life, and experiment with practical tools for change. My approach is flexible, supportive, and tailored to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I use “third-wave” therapies, which means taking the most relevant aspects of Compassion-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment and Cognitive Behavioural therapies to tailor to your needs. Additionally, for challenges with OCD I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
I have over 9 years of experience working across diverse mental health backgrounds, and have been providing CBT for most of those years. My experience has meant I've been lucky enough to support people across all walks of life. I understand that every situation is unique and life can be incredibly challenging.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I appreciate that beginning therapy can be quite anxiety provoking in itself and you might now know where to start or if you’re finding a good match. I’m happy to chat further so that you can get a sense of how I can help, and you can see if we feel like a good fit.
