About me

How can I help you? This would be the first thing I would want to know.  I am a qualified and experienced and have worked with lots of clients  This gives me the experience and understanding of lots of people. Saying this, I don't treat everyone the same. I see the person who walks into my room. Who takes that step and wants to get help with their worries  I won't judge, I'm opened minded and have worked with many different client groups.  I will sit with you and listen. I will do my best to help you sort out what going on for you and help you unravel whats worrying you and bringing you here. I don't have the answers for you, I don't know you. But together as we build trust and an understanding between us, I might see things with fresh eyes and help you find the peace and space you need to do the same.

I practice Person Centred, Humanistic Counselling as well as CBT and Mindfulness. I specialise and have experience with anxiety and bereavement amongst other things.

I have over 10 years’ experience counselling clients. This includes working with adults and young people in private practice.  I work with and have worked for: JustB and Talking Spaces at St. Michael's Hospice,  NHS staff support helpline, YMCA and Mind. I also have several years experience working with people with mental health issues including PTSD, Depression, stress and anxiety.

I am 45 minutes outside Harrogate and Ripon, in the Nidderdale. The drive itself is therapeutic, beautiful and calming.

I am professional, discreet and open minded. I offer short and long term counselling in a relaxed and comfortable space.
