About me
I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor, currently working in private practice and for different organisations. I am non-judging, opened minded and have worked with many different client groups. I practice Person Centred, Humanistic Counselling as well as CBT and Mindfulness. I specialise and have experience with anxiety, a general feeling of sadness and bereavement amongst other things.
I have over 8 years’ experience counselling clients. This includes working with adults and young people. I work with and have worked with: JustB (bereavement service) and Talking Spaces for St. Michael's Hospice, the YMCA and Mind. I also have several years experience working with people with mental health challenges, including stress and anxiety that keeps you awake at night and believe if it's worrying you it's worth talking through.
I am 45 minutes outside Harrogate and Ripon, in the Nidderdale. The drive itself is therapeutic, beautiful and calming.
I am professional, discreet and open minded. I offer short and long term counselling in a relaxed and comfortable space.
