About me
Hello, I'm Hannah. I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist with a BACP accredited Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space for you to find your way through what you are experiencing. When you are struggling it can be so hard to find clarity and having dedicated time to explore your feelings can be so valuable. Our sessions will provide a calm and supportive environment for your to work through things at your own pace. This may mean exploring your past or focusing on the present; exploring your relationships or honing in on the way you feel about yourself. I am an empathetic listener who draws on my experience of working with people from all walks of life as well as my own experiences.
My own experience with counselling and psychotherapy, led me to my passion for creating a safe place for people to share their feelings without fear of judgement or persecution. Having worked through my own struggles, I know how valuable and important the therapeutic space can be and how much of a weight can be lifted by sharing with someone outside your close circles.
Therapy is not a "one size fits all" process, which is why I believe it is important to work with your own experience at the heart of our sessions. Finding the right therapist for you is also important which is why I offer a commitment free 15-30min call to discuss what your expectations are and the way that I work to ensure that we are a good match. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
