About me

Seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially if you've been struggling with your relationship with food, your body, or yourself for a long time. My aim is to offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe enough to explore what lies beneath your difficulties and begin moving toward lasting change.

I specialise in supporting adults experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and difficulties with self-esteem and self-worth. Whether you are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, disordered eating patterns, or feeling stuck in cycles of self-criticism, therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand your experiences and develop a kinder relationship with yourself.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on CBT-E, DBT, MANTRA, CAT, psychodynamic, and attachment-informed perspectives. Together, we will explore how past experiences, relationships, and coping patterns may be influencing your present difficulties, while also developing practical tools to support change in everyday life.

I believe that symptoms often tell an important story. Rather than focusing solely on behaviours, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the underlying emotional needs, challenges, and experiences that may be contributing to their struggles. My goal is to help you build self-trust, move away from the pressures of diet culture, and create a more compassionate and fulfilling relationship with yourself.

Wherever you are in your journey, you do not have to navigate it alone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with over five years of experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My training includes a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of East London, an MSc in Affective Disorders from King’s College London, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Delhi. Alongside my academic training, I have worked across NHS mental health services, including specialist eating disorder services, where I have supported individuals with complex and varied needs.
