About me
Life can be really hard at times. We all have such amazing potential but how do we reach it? Therapy can help. We can identify what the difficulties are. We can think about the impact they are having on your life. We can explore how you might be able to overcome or at least co-exist with the challenges you are facing and we can do it together.
I work relationally. This means that I understand that trauma manifests throughout our relationships. We will work together to understand and process this using our own relationship as a vehicle.
I work integratively drawing on a number of therapeutic modalities. We work together to understand what approach works best.
I can offer face-to-face appointments at my offices based in Deal or Canterbury. I also work remotely and can offer video-based sessions.
My company also has a team of online therapists so please do enquire.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am the Founder of RTN Diagnostics, RTN Medical and RTN Therapies. We provide a variety of mental health services including talking therapies, psychiatry and diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD.
I worked in financial services in London for twenty years. I learned a lot about the human condition in this time.
In 2016 I qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling through Kent and Medway NHS & SCPT.
I am trained in a number of different modalities of therapy including CBT, psychodynamic, existential and person-centred. I employ a pluralistic approach to suit the needs of the client.
I love personal development so I continue to attend courses to extend my knowledge and practice. Most recently I have been completing training on Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy.
I continue to work with a lot of clients who are diagnosed or identify as being neurodiverse.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I predominantly work online. This means we can work together from the comfort of your own home and we are not restricted by geography. I have a secure platform that I use to ensure our video therapy is confidential.
