About me

If you’ve made it this far and found yourself reading my advert, I’m going to gently guess that something inside you is saying, “something needs to change".

I want to acknowledge just how hard this part can be - the scrolling, the searching, the overwhelm of trying to find a therapist who just gets it.

If you’ve stayed with me this far, I’ve got a feeling we might get along.

Hi, I’m Grace.
Person-centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and someone who understands what it’s like to carry heavy experiences and knows what it’s like to choose healing and growth.

I’m a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD cis woman in my (almost late) 20s, and I know first-hand how powerful (and messy, and beautiful) the work of unlearning can be.

I work with adults navigating all kinds of life experiences - whether it’s stress, anxiety, burnout, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or simply wondering: “Why do I feel like this?”

Sometimes the weight we carry is loud and obvious, other times it hides in the background - in our habits, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or fear of letting others down.

Together, in therapy, we will gently explore what’s been shaping your inner world - from old expectations you’ve outgrown, to patterns that no longer serve you.

I offer online and phone therapy, so our sessions can happen wherever you feel most comfortable- on your sofa, curled up in bed, or from your favourite chair. Just a cuppa, a calm space, and real, human connection. No rushing, no pressure - just time that’s completely yours.

In therapy, I’ll walk alongside you as you reconnect with your resilience, soften into your truth, and start embracing your inner magic - the parts of you that were never gone, just tucked away, quietly waiting to be found.

If you’re ready to begin untangling what’s been weighing you down, and feel more like you, I’d love to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University, BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Counselling from The Open University, and I am a registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

With experience supporting adults, children, and young people across various settings—including schools, charities, and the NHS—I’ve developed a deep understanding of how the pressures we face early on can shape who we become.

I’m deeply committed to continual professional development, regularly attending workshops, conferences, and online courses to expand my knowledge. This ensures I can offer a more informed and tailored approach to your unique needs, providing the most effective support possible.

If you feel weighed down by others' expectations, constantly chasing validation, or unsure of who you truly are, I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
