Those seeking psychotherapy or counselling may be worried and suffering from anxiety or depression as a result of concerns due to life's pressures and changes. Coming to terms with events in the past or present or with relationship worries may cause difficulties. Sometimes a client may fear that what they are bringing to counselling is shameful or embarrassing but being a psychotherapist, with a number of years’ experience, I use a range of approaches and techniques to meet the individuals specific needs, in order to connect with what is needed most. No matter what obstacles there are, I offer professional, discreet and caring help upon a wide range of issues to help, resolve and manage problems. Between us, we can address issues such as:
- Communication/conflict issues
- Couples Counselling
- Divorce and Separation
- Low self esteem
- Life stage and life changes
- Aftermath of Affair
- Re-constructed families
- Pregnancy and impact of new baby
- Work stress/Bullying at work
- Bereavement Counselling
Another approach to therapy is hypnotherapy. I am both an adult and pediatric hypnotherapist.
Hypnotherapy encourages you to let go of their worries and anxieties. Here we can work with the unconscious, the deeper part of the mind, that governs our automatic fears and habits. This part of the mind can be trained to help you live life to the full.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
