About me

Hello and welcome.

Available online only 😀

While we circle this blue orb - the cradle of everything we’ve ever known - life has a way of landing hard. Anxieties, old wounds, sudden losses, the quiet ache of feeling unseen. Sometimes the people closest to us can’t hold it, or we simply don’t want to ask them to. That’s when you need more than a good listener. You need someone trained, steady, and willing to sit in the real with you.

“Somewhere between right and wrong there is a garden. I’ll meet you there.” - (Rumi)

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space online where we can explore the universal hunger for love, connection, and a self that feels true. Whether you’re carrying anxiety, depression, the aftermath of abuse or bereavement, the fallout of divorce, low confidence, childhood echoes, or just the sense that something in you has gone quiet - we work with whatever is alive in the room.

I’m a Person-Centred Counsellor and psychotherapist (Middlesex University, BACP member) with over eighteen years in education and hundreds of clients from every kind of background. My work rests on Carl Rogers’ core conditions: empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. I don’t sit back and nod. I enter your world with you. We move at your pace. You are the vessel; therapy is the journey that helps you unravel the narrative of your inner heart and meet the organismic self that’s been waiting underneath the noise.

Online has its own strange gift - the disinhibition effect. Screens can make it easier to say the things that feel too raw face-to-face. A gentle voice on the other end of the line can feel surprisingly close when the house is quiet and sleep won’t come. That’s why I keep night hours available. If 2 a.m. is when the thoughts get loud, we can meet there.

I also understand that for some, the constraints of a therapy room may be daunting and even off-putting, so I offer counselling and coaching fully in the cyber world as a digital psychotherapist. We can work entirely online, or if you want to go deeper I can arrange a trip to connect you with Thailand retreats. If you’re looking to relocate or simply need time away to reset, ask me for more details.

I work collaboratively, without rescuing you. Together we look at feelings, patterns, the stories you’ve been told about who you are, and the ones you’re ready to rewrite. Healing isn’t a performance. It’s the slow, honest work of becoming more yourself.

Cost: £55–£65 sliding scale for a 55-minute session.
Longer sessions available when needed. Couple sessions £70

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
