About me

Hello and Welcome, (50% online discount for these uncertain times)

Whilst we circle this blue orb, the cradle of humanity known as earth; Life can and will often throw us unwelcome surprises, anxieties and wounds; and sometimes we need help beyond our circle of friends, someone who is not only a good listener, but a qualified, skilled and experienced practitioner.

I work with a range of issues including anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, relationship issues, depression, rejection; and the universal longing within humanity 'the quest for love and connection'.

In addition I also cover generational differences, divorce and separation, bullying, career, bereavement, depression, lack of confidence and low self-esteem, childhood issues and more.

I see many come through counselling and undergo transformation, healing and leave with hope for the future.

I don't just sit, listen and nod my head, I enter your world.

'Somewhere between right and wrong, there is a garden, I'll meet you there.'

No matter your challenge, as a 'Person Centred Counsellor' I will work with you as an individual in helping you to explore, grow and express finding your true organismic self; You are the vessel and therapy is the journey to help you unravel the narrative of your inner heart and you are valued. There is treasure within the soul and together we will explore.

I am concerned and committed for the healing, the well-being and development of you as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. I offer a space that is non-threatening and non-judgmental, where a new expression of who you truly are can begin to emerge, it is a space to re-imagine your life and future; a way to examine and work through issues you may have so that genuine healing and change can occur.

Talking with friends and family is invaluable, but sometimes it might feel too risky and impersonal to expose them to your inner thoughts and feelings.

This is when having your own private space to express and explore what you are experiencing may become helpful and attractive to you; That’s where I come in as a personal counsellor and psychotherapist.

I am here to guide you through this process without rescue; Working in a collaborative way to meet you at you're point in you're life’s journey. ‘Together we explore’ feelings, thought patterns, expectations of who we think we are, attitudes and our interaction with our inner and outer world – so in counselling together, we can begin to see with clarity, thus enabling growth and actualisation to happen.

As a trained psychotherapist counsellor; qualified at 'Middlesex University' and a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists) in addition I have also been in the education profession for over 16 years, working with young adults as well as SEN clients and during this time made the transition from learning and behaviour mentor to embark on a full-time counselling career.

My approach is based on Nobel peace prize nominee Carl Rogers’s - 1902-1987 humanistic theories working with you at you're pace, therapy is the journey to help you un-render and unravel the emotions within.

With my passion to help you discover and understand self in both past and present, using early childhood experience, cultural beliefs, gender restraints or present day life on this blue planet that shapes patterns of relating and sense of self; (humanistic, Existential and Phenomenological).

Over the years I have gained trust and a good reputation with my education community and team and I still endeavor to learn and grow as a counsellor as I explore the inner thoughts and feelings of each client through the core conditions and my practice thereof. Empathy (sharing and understanding feelings), congruence (being genuine and open to your experiences) and unconditional positive regard (fully accepting you for what you bring, and who you are), the key things that help give clients the right conditions for personal discovery and growth.

I have worked with hundreds of individuals from all types of backgrounds throughout the world.

I have found that when clients have their own private space to express and explore what the in-congruence is within that they are experiencing, counselling becomes beneficial if not crucial in exploring the world within. Arrange an appointment today.
