About me
Hello,
I am the Lead Psychologist at Oxford Mind and Body with several years of experience working in public and private sectors, as well at the university counselling services. I work with a variety of presentations (including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, relationship difficulties and bereavement, amongst others) and I also specialise in the treatment of eating disorders and their co-morbidities.
At the initial assessment we will consider your difficulties and devise a plan forward. I am trained in different psychotherapeutic approaches, which enables me to offer you NICE recommended treatments but also to tailor therapy to suit your needs, after all one size does not fit all. In therapy, we will aim to build a collaborative and trusting relationship, where challenges can be faced open heartedly.
I am a Chartered Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol ROSPIP AFBPsS). I am registered as a Practicing Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I work alongside a group of other great Psychologists and Psychotherapists at Oxford Mind & Body delivering therapy from central Oxford. Further information can be found at https://oxfordmindandbody.co.uk/
I , and my colleagues, look forward to meeting you and working together.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
