About me
Hello! Thank you for coming to look at my page. I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Hove, and I provide support for a variety of issues. My work is primarily informed by my training in a form of therapy called Transactional Analysis but I am also influenced by existential and relational approaches.
You might want to talk about relationship problems, or be unhappy at work. You could be having problems with your creative life or struggling with feeling different. Some people have very specific reasons for seeking therapy and some might simply be aware that they are not very happy and want to find out why.
I’m keen to work with all of these issues and more. Therapy begins with a safe space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings confidentially. This is my starting point.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
I have a degree in Philosophy from the University of Sussex
I also completed a post graduate diploma in Psychology with the Open University
I have dealt with a wide variety of issues with clients
Prior to my training, I gained 30 years of experience in both government and musical performance.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
