About me

Hi, I’m George, an integrative therapist working both online and in-person in Basingstoke. I work with a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-defeating behaviours and relationship issues (not with couples).

I am open to working with whatever is bringing you to therapy. I qualified with a Level 5 advanced professional diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and a Level 5 diploma in counselling young people, CPCAB. I am a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS). I offer both long and short-term therapy.

We are all unique, each with our own worlds, and this is where I believe the work of therapy begins, with how individual we all are. The human experience can be unique to everyone, and whatever happens in our world can be explored. I would be delighted to work alongside you, your emotions and your experience to understand how therapy can help with whatever it is you’re going through.

As an integrative therapist, I’m able to draw on different models and techniques of working, whether that be Psychodynamic, CBT or Person-Centred. The most important person in sessions is you, and this approach will be tailored and explored together. However, I’m a firm believer that techniques cross over, and what we do with young people in sessions is incredibly beneficial to adults, creativity being at the heart of this.

I provide a safe, empathic and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, feelings and behaviours.

I welcome any individual, no matter your race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class or disability.

Please feel free to reach out to arrange a free telephone call where I can answer any questions you may have, and you can decide whether I might be the right therapist for you.
