About me
I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor with extensive experience working with adults, children, and couples. In addition to my counselling practice, I am a qualified clinical supervisor and an approved foster carer. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a non-judgemental attitude, offering a safe and confidential space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely.
I work from the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you—to help you reconnect with yourself, understand your emotional world, and empower you to make meaningful changes that enhance your wellbeing and quality of life.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and we lose sight of who we are or where we’re going. Together, we can slow things down, find clarity, and take steps forward with renewed focus and confidence.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Science, with my dissertation focusing on men's lack of engagement in talking therapy—an area I feel deeply passionate about. I believe in the transformative power of counselling and am committed to providing a space where you feel truly heard, accepted, and supported.
My areas of special interest include:
Inner child work
Attachment and identity
Developmental and relational trauma
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, or simply feeling lost, I’m here to support you on your journey back to yourself.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation prior to booking a session. This allows you to decide if you feel I would be the right individual for you to work with.
I offer face to face, telephone, or online counselling sessions. In your first session, we will go through the contract agreement followed by a lifestyle and well being assessment. We will identify what you are hoping to achieve from our sessions and use this as the foundation of our work together.
