About me
Through the therapeutic process, we will aim to build understanding and insights into the issues and difficulties that brought you into therapy. To help you build some resilience to deal with the past and the present and move forward.
I offer a service to children, adolescents, and young adults to allow them to begin to understand and explore how their past experiences have impacted on their lives, to be able to regulate their emotions and behaviours in order to cope with life’s challenges. Often the problems experienced are related to or are the result of past traumas or even just finding it hard to cope with life generally with all its pressures and difficulties. I can also see families and parents who can sometimes struggle to understand the problems facing them as a family unit. I am offering a safe and non-judgemental space, where we can begin to understand.
I offer both short and long term psychotherapeutic interventions to Children and Adolescents/Young Adults, as well as parents and families. I will initially complete an assessment and offer weekly appointments which last for 50 minutes.
I offer therapeutic support for a wide range of issues including:
Anxiety, Low mood/depression, Low self-esteem, Mood disorders, Anger issues, Abuse, Loss and bereavement, PTSD, Trauma and advise on other issues and problems.
My name is Gabriella and I seek to work collaboratively with my clients and offer in person or online appointment, if appropriate.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
