About me
I specialise in supporting individuals and couples through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. My work focuses on perinatal anxiety, depression, birth trauma, intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, and relationship strain. I also support parents in strengthening attachment and understanding their child’s emotional needs.
I offer evidence‑based therapy including perinatal CBT, EMDR, Behavioural Couples Therapy for Depression, and foundational CFT/DBT skills. I also integrate the Circle of Security parenting programme to help parents feel more confident and connected in their caregiving role. My approach is warm, structured, and collaborative, providing a safe space to explore difficult experiences and build practical skills for moving forward.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information
I offer both online and face‑to‑face therapy, giving clients flexibility to choose the format that feels most comfortable and accessible. Online sessions are delivered via secure video platforms, allowing clients to engage in therapy from their own home, with the same level of structure, care, and professionalism as in‑person work.
For clients who prefer face‑to‑face therapy, I offer sessions in Rochdale. The therapy space is quiet, private, and designed to feel calm and welcoming. It is suitable for both individual and couples work, with comfortable seating and a layout that supports open conversation and emotional safety. There is nearby parking and good local transport links, making the premises easy to access.
My way of working is collaborative, structured, and grounded in evidence‑based practice. I take time to understand each client’s goals and experiences, and I tailor therapy to their needs using CBT, EMDR, Behavioural Couples Therapy for Depression, and CFT/DBT‑informed skills. When working with parents, I also draw on the Circle of Security model to support understanding of attachment and emotional needs.
Sessions typically include a balance of exploration, reflection, and practical skill‑building. I aim to create a space where clients feel heard and understood, while also supporting them to make meaningful and sustainable changes. Whether working online or in person, I prioritise warmth, clarity, and a steady therapeutic structure that helps clients feel safe and supported throughout the process.
