About me
You don't have to have all the answers to start therapy. Sometimes you just know something isn't right - even if you can't put your finger on exactly what it is.
You might be feeling stuck, uncertain or lost. Maybe struggling in relationships. questioning your worth or battling self doubt. Thoughts like:
- I should be happier
- I should know what I want
- I should be able to handle this
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone - and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
Therapy gives you the space to explore your thoughts and feelings without pressure or judgement. It helps you understand yourself, feel more confident in your choices, and find a sense of calm within yourself.
I have worked with many clients experiencing difficult or traumatic family relationships, abuse, depression, trauma and anxiety.
I have helped clients struggling with their self-esteem and self-worth.
Friends and family can be a great support but they are also part of your world - they have their own emotions expectations and opinions.
Therapy is different. It's a space just for you, where you can explore what you're going through without worrying how it affects others.
I am here to focus on, and care about you, to help you figure out how you feel, and allow you to experience those feelings without embarrassment, guilt, shame or judgement.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the field of infertility, and supported new parents through volunteering. These experiences deepened my understanding of the emotional stress that comes with life's transitions - whether that's grief, postnatal depression or the silent pressure of 'getting it right'
If you’d like to explore whether therapy feels right for you, I offer a free 20-minute call - no pressure, just a chance to see if we're a good fit. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.
