I, like all psychotherapists, help people to overcome challenges and fill their lives with purpose and meaning.
I have an international perspective having lived in several developing countries growing up, and having studied in Oxford, Paris and Dublin.
I first found my professional calling while working as a teacher with vulnerable students in schools, which has led to an incredibly rewarding career as a psychotherapist.
Today, my clients range clients range from school children to the most senior academics, from pastors and Olympic hopefuls, to international government ministers.
I volunteer as a therapist with staff from ICU wards on the Covid front line.
I live in Oxfordshire with my husband and three teenage children and look forward to spending more time over the next couple of years in the French Alps.
I have the privilege of being involved with StoryQ. Based in the USA yet working worldwide, democratising the documentary. I am incredibly passionate about this.
I believe that the special relationship counselling offers is an important part of change and recovery.
I work in a safe, confidential and beautiful place in Oxfordshire, UK.
Non-judgemental face-to-face and Online Counselling.
I work with referrals from GP's, and mostly private referrals.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have turned my personal website off for the time being, due to high demand.
Training, qualifications & experience
French Degree, Oxford Brookes.
Diplome Universitaire de Technologie, La Sorbonne, Paris
Post-Grad from Aberystwyth University. PGCE.
Montessori Teacher training in Dublin
My diploma is in Integrative Counselling and I have experience with a range of issues including panic attacks, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, addiction, sexuality, relationship difficulties, bereavement, eating disorders, loss and identity.
Experience with a national bereavement charity, working with addiction groups, as a high school counsellor, working for Oxfordshire County Council, currently in private practice and doing research.
I am EMDR trained. This therapy is recommended by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
My research is a passion. It involves how to link retirees to mentor young people who might need a helping hand, particularly those who have left foster care. Reducing feelings of isolation, hopelessness, and depression (for both parties) whilst boosting self confidence and self esteem.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
£80.00 per session
My fee is £80 a session.
I work with clients online internationally, and within Oxfordshire.
Integrative means that I combine aspects of several models of therapy depending on the needs of each unique client. Evidence suggests that all models are effective, but the vital part is the quality of the relationship you share with your counsellor.
I went to International schools in many different, and often politically sensitive, countries before going to boarding school. I enjoy being and working with people of all nationalities and backgrounds.
After a degree in French, I became a Montessori teacher and then Primary school teacher. My strength lay in working with the more vulnerable pupils. This led me to pursue counselling.
I am holistic in my upbringing, outlook and the way I work. I am interested in all aspects of our lives, emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual. This involves how they impact on each other and those around us.
I see individual clients, providing a confidential and safe environment in which to build a relationship of trust and openness. This might be short or long-term, depending on individual needs. I work with my clients at the pace they want.
I also work with young people.
I am also involved with CRUSE a national bereavement charity and youth counselling. If you are a parent who is concerned about your child or teenager that you think may benefit from counselling, I happy to discuss the way I work with you.
I am committed to my Continued Professional Development (CPD).
