About me
I’m an anxiety specialist, here to help you find your way out of the anxiety maze.
Talking things through can be a valuable part of therapy. When anxiety is involved, it can also help to take a tailored approach—one that helps you understand your brain, calm your stress response, and develop practical tools for lasting change. This can help you move towards your desired future.
“Good therapy is not just about moving away from problems; it’s also about building a positive, compelling future"
My approach:
My compassionate, practical approach combines CBT, solution-focused therapy, compassion-focused therapy and hypnotherapy. I also draw on helpful ideas and techniques from a range of therapeutic approaches, including parts work and guided imagery.
These gentle, creative methods can help us explore your inner world, notice patterns that may not be immediately apparent, and develop a deeper understanding of what may be affecting you.
Who I work with:
I have specific training in supporting people with anxiety, worry, self-doubt and stress-related difficulties, including:
- Stress, overwhelm and burnout
- Chronic worry and intrusive thoughts
- Low self-confidence and self-doubt
- Insomnia
- Panic attacks
- Phobias
- Health anxiety
- Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD)
- Social anxiety disorder (SAD)
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Unhelpful habits and behaviours
- Trauma-related anxiety and post-traumatic stress symptoms
Understanding anxiety:
I can help you understand how your brain works and why small, action-based steps can have a positive impact on anxiety and stress-related difficulties.
Your comfort, safety and wellbeing matter. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, keeping you in control throughout. My approach is compassionate, practical and collaborative.
I offer weekly or fortnightly sessions, depending on your needs and preferences.
I’d be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to arrange a free 25-minute Zoom consultation, where we can have an informal chat about what you are experiencing and explore a way forward together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
