About me
You may be a couple seeking help and guidance with your relationship, or an individual navigating a recent loss, untangling a traumatic past, or simply feeling a bit lost in your own life. For many of us, the identities and coping strategies we developed early in life were necessary to survice and feel accepted, these patterns such as people-pleasing, and co-dependency may have served us well for years, but can eventually leave us feeling numb, disconnected, and blocked from true personal growth.
As your therapist, I provide a safe space to work collaboratively with you to identify and understand these deeply ingrained beliefs, understand where they came from, and recognize how they are currently getting in your way. I will work with you, to help you create positive change in your life, to foster self-awareness and facilitate meaningful personal change.
Reclaiming Your Voice: Often we can create a false sense of self, which goes against our true authentic self, we will work together to help you reconnect with yourself.
Overcoming Negative Comparison: Breaking the habit of seeing yourself as "less than" others.
Restoring Self-Worth: Rebuilding a foundational belief that you are inherently worthy and enough.
I will work with you to help explore the past and how it affects the now, to unpicking your core beliefs and patterns that keep you stuck.
Whilst I work with a wide range of mental health difficulties, such as bereavement, relationship issues and low self-esteem/self-worth, to EUPD (BPD) I have extensive experience in the following areas:
Abuse & Trauma: Providing a safe space to help you process the past and process unresolved trauma.
Addiction: Understanding that addiction is often a response to underlying pain, and working to heal the root cause, working with you through relapse and into recovery.
Neurodiversity - ADHD/ASD: Helping you to understand yourself better in relation to a past or recent diagnosis and your relationships with others.
Depression & Anxiety: I am NICE trained in CfD (Counselling for Depression), a specialist, emotion-focused approach designed to explore the depths of depression.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
