About me
Hello, I'm Ewa. I'm an integrative and creative therapist offering a warm, straightforward and collaborative approach to therapy.
I believe there is no single way of working that suits everyone. We are all different, with different experiences, personalities and ways of understanding ourselves. I therefore adapt my approach to you, rather than expecting you to fit into one particular therapeutic model.
My work is grounded in a person-centred approach, but I also draw on CBT, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis (TA), as well as creative ways of working when they feel appropriate. Together, we can explore what is happening for you, recognise patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find ways to move forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about. Sometimes you may simply know that something doesn't feel right. We can start from there.
I work with adults and young people aged 16+, offering short-term and longer-term therapy in English and Polish. Sessions are available face-to-face in Highams Park, London, and online.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My training is in Person-Centred and Integrative counselling, and my practice also draws on elements of Gestalt, Transactional Analysis (TA) and CBT.
I have over ten years' experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, as well as people from different cultural and migration backgrounds. This has given me a deeper understanding of how differently we can communicate, process emotions and experience the world around us.
Alongside my private practice, I have experience working within education and therapeutic wellbeing services, including supporting men's mental health and suicide prevention.
I am also a qualified Sound Therapy Practitioner. Creativity is an important part of who I am and how I work. My interest in sound, creativity and emotional wellbeing allows me to bring a different perspective into the therapeutic space, particularly when words alone may not feel enough.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I understand that taking the first step towards therapy is not always easy, especially if you have never had counselling before. You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about or have everything figured out before contacting me.
I offer a free 15-minute telephone or online consultation, where we can briefly talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are looking for and whether we feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation to continue.
Sessions are 50 minutes, and I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs. I also offer single-session therapy where appropriate.
Face-to-face sessions are available from my private therapy room at Space|3 Wellness in Highams Park, London. I also offer online and phone sessions. I'm offering therapy in English and Polish.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, identity difficulties, addiction and different life changes.
Most importantly, you can come as you are. We will start with what feels important to you and work from there, at your own pace.
