About me
People seek help from a professional when they are feeling overwhelmed from life issues such as stress, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, isolation or depression. A current emotional difficulty could be a symptom of something related to past experiences.
As a therapist, I will create a confidential and a safe space where you can explore your worries and problems. I understand that contacting a psychotherapist could be a big and daunting step. However, you might be surprised how talking to a trained professional could help you enormously not only to address your problems, but also to re-establish a relationship with yourself.
After contacting me, I would arrange an assessment session, which we would use to understand what is the best way of helping you. If you should like to proceed, the therapy sessions are 50 minutes, on weekly basis.
I offer long-term therapy but also short-term work, which could be helpful for specific problems such as anxiety, loss of motivation or low level of depression.
Long-term psychotherapy is more in-depth work and explores the past experiences and how they might have shaped who you are today. By working through these experiences, they could be fully processed and this brings a better sense of understanding yourself and taking control over your emotional life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy. The UKCP is the professional association for psychotherapists who practice in the UK.
I have a Masters degree in psychotherapy and I have had further training in group psychotherapy with the London Institute of Group Analysis.
I have worked for many years in different treatment programmes, facilitating group and individual therapy sessions. I have experience in the field of addiction, substance misuse, dual diagnoses and I have worked with clients who have suffered from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss of meaning and past difficult emotional experiences.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
