About me
When anxiety, self-doubt or a constant sense of unease becomes part of everyday life, it can feel as though you're always on edge. You might find yourself trying hard to keep others happy, putting your own needs last, or listening to an inner voice that is rarely kind. Perhaps difficult past experiences still affect you in ways you don’t fully understand, and certain situations leave you feeling overwhelmed or out of control. Over time, all of this can leave you feeling disconnected - from others and from who you truly are.
Coming to therapy is a sign that you’re ready for something to change. It can be a quiet, steady space to explore what’s been difficult and start to feel more grounded and more like yourself. Together, we can make sense of patterns that may have helped you cope in the past but no longer feel helpful now. At your pace, and in a way that feels safe, we’ll work towards a calmer, more compassionate way of being.
I’ll meet you exactly where you are, and offer you the support you need to find strength you never knew you had. A life where more ease and self-acceptance is possible and attainable. You don’t have to be a prisoner of your past, and you don’t have to do it alone.
I offer online therapy, meaning that I can work with you from wherever you are in the UK. Contact me for a free 30 minute initial online consultation - I look forward to hearing from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Registered Psychologist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, offering trauma-informed therapy for adults seeking lasting change. At the heart of my approach is a psychodynamic understanding of how earlier experiences shape present-day thoughts, feelings and relationships. Alongside talking therapy, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapy to support deeper healing, especially when words are not enough. I receive regular, specialist supervision in each of these approaches.
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they can’t shift, or carrying pain that others may not fully see or understand. They’re looking for a therapist who works gently and consistently, offering space to feel truly heard. My aim is to help you explore your experience at your own pace, with the understanding that you are already a whole and worthwhile person - no matter what you’ve lived through.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
