About me
Hi, welcome to my page.
I am trained in Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and am an integrative therapist, adapting my approach based on individual client needs. I use a range of techniques and coping strategies to address thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. By listening and understanding, I aim to empower clients to identify their own solutions and work through their challenges.
I currently work with adults aged 18 and over, offering both short-term and long-term therapy. I’m an open-minded, empathic therapist with a down-to-earth professional approach. I’m passionate about helping people improve their mental health and wellbeing, and supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves.
I understand that choosing a counsellor can be a difficult process. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful counselling. It’s essential that you feel comfortable and safe to explore your issues in an understanding environment.
My main interests are counselling for anxiety, depression, and bereavement, and I also focus on assisting in increasing confidence and self-esteem. My experience covers a wide range of issues, including self-awareness and addressing both past and present challenges affecting your life.
Together, we can explore what has brought you to therapy and decide how to move forward. I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation to discuss the support I offer and ensure it is right for you. Once you email me your interest, I’ll get back to you within 24 hours—please remember to check your junk folder.
The assessment involves me gathering some information about you and what’s brought you to therapy.
Once the assessment is complete and we are both happy to go ahead, I will book you in for your first face-to-face session at a convenient time for us both.
If you are considering therapy, I invite you to reach out and start the journey towards personal growth and well-being.
I currently work all day Thursday and Friday Am.

I hold a degree in Advanced Studies in Early Years combined with Childhood and Youth Studies, which has provided me with transferable skills for working with adults and a deep understanding of issues affecting young people aged 18-25. My qualifications also include:
- Level 3 Counselling Skills

- Level 5 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Level 2 in Trauma
- Integral Eye Movement Therapy
Additionally, I have completed various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in areas such as bereavement, anxiety, trauma, depression, DBT skills, self-sabotage and self-care to continually enhance my practice.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
