About me
Sometimes life asks more of us than we feel able to carry.
You may have spent weeks, months or even years putting everyone else first, trying to keep going, telling yourself you’ll be okay. But inside, you might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected or simply not like yourself anymore.
If that’s where you find yourself today, I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
I know that reaching out for counselling isn’t always easy. It can feel vulnerable to trust someone you’ve never met with the parts of yourself you’ve perhaps kept hidden for a long time. My hope is that, from the moment we begin working together, you’ll feel accepted, listened to and never judged.
I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can bring whatever is on your mind. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. There is no right way to do therapy and no expectation for you to have the right words. We simply begin with you, exactly as you are.
My approach is rooted in person-centred counselling, meaning I believe you are the expert on your own life. I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches where they may be helpful, but our relationship will always remain at the heart of our work. Together we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you understand yourself more deeply and move towards lasting, meaningful change.
I support adults and young people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, stress, workplace issues, women’s health, neurodiversity, life transitions and many of the challenges that can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Whatever has brought you to counselling, we will work together to understand your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
The name Willow Wolf Therapy reflects the values that guide my work. Like the willow, I believe in gentleness, flexibility and allowing ourselves space to heal. Like the wolf, I believe we all have an inner resilience that can become difficult to recognise during life’s more challenging seasons. Therapy can help you reconnect with that strength and rediscover trust in yourself.
I offer both online and face-to-face counselling in a calm, welcoming environment where you are free to be yourself. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within their Ethical Framework to provide safe, professional and compassionate counselling.
My core training is in person-centred counselling, which forms the foundation of the way I work. Alongside this, my integrative approach allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transactional analysis and other humanistic approaches where these may best support your individual needs.
I believe learning is an ongoing part of being an effective therapist and regularly undertake continuing professional development to ensure my knowledge and practice remain current. This enables me to support clients experiencing a broad range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship challenges, ADHD and autism, low self-esteem, menopause, work-related stress, health concerns, life transitions and other emotional or psychological difficulties.
Before becoming a counsellor, I developed extensive experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, giving me a deep appreciation that every person’s story is unique. This continues to shape my belief that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all process, but a collaborative relationship built on trust, empathy and genuine understanding.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Choosing a counsellor is a personal decision, and it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with.
If you’re considering therapy, I understand that taking the first step can feel daunting. Our first session is simply an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what has brought you to counselling, and see whether we feel like the right fit. There is no pressure to share everything straight away - we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling, either online or face to face, depending on your preferences and what feels most supportive for your circumstances.
Above all, I hope Willow Wolf Therapy offers you a place where you can pause, breathe and feel truly heard. A place where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay, where your experiences are met with compassion, and where we can work together towards greater understanding, healing and lasting change.
If anything you’ve read resonates with you, I’d be delighted to hear from you and answer any questions you may have before arranging an initial session.
