About me

Hi, I’m Emma. I'm a CBT therapist who supports young people and adults that may be struggling with anxiety or depression. If you or your child are feeling down, stuck, anxious, stressed or overwhelmed, we can work together to make sense of what you are experiencing and help you move forwards.

Using CBT, I can help you explore the links between what you are thinking, feeling and doing. CBT is one of the most researched, evidence- based and effective forms of therapy. The knowledge that you gain and the skills that you learn in therapy are designed to last, empowering you to continue making progress long after therapy ends.

We can also work on a deeper level, exploring how your experiences throughout your life may have shaped your core beliefs, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how these beliefs may be showing up in your day to day now.

CBT can be particularly effective at treating:

  • Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), worry and overthinking
  • Depression and low mood
  • Low self-esteem and Low self-confidence
  • Stress and burnout
  • Social anxiety, health anxiety and phobias
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Trauma and PTSD

We will work at a pace that feels right for you, with clear goals and regular reviews of progress throughout treatment.
